Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of the Season Signal website, customer account, personalized calendar feeds, emails, billing tools, and beta feedback tools.
Effective September 19, 20261. Agreement to these terms
By joining the beta, subscribing to a Season Signal calendar, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these Terms of Use and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Beta service
Season Signal is an early-stage calendar convenience service. The beta is provided without charge and may change, experience errors, become unavailable, or be discontinued. Features and coverage may be added, removed, or corrected without notice. Regulation-alert emails may be delayed, filtered, or not delivered and are not a substitute for checking official sources.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or have permission from a parent or legal guardian, to use Season Signal. Adults may configure youth hunt calendars using their own contact information.
Season Signal is not the law.
Calendar entries and regulation-alert emails are provided for planning convenience and may be incomplete, delayed, outdated, or incorrect. They do not replace the current Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife regulations, emergency rules, quota or closure notices, official maps, licensing requirements, tag documents, or instructions from law-enforcement or land-management agencies.
Before applying or hunting, you are responsible for confirming the applicable hunt number, species, unit, zone or boundary, opening and closing dates, legal animal or harvest limit, authorized method, eligibility, tag and license requirements, access restrictions, health or emergency closures, and all other applicable rules with the official agency. When Season Signal conflicts with an official source, the official source controls. Season Signal is not affiliated with or endorsed by ODFW.
5. Your responsibilities
You are solely responsible for complying with hunting, fishing, shellfish, wildlife, weapons, trespass, public-land, fire, public health, and other applicable laws. A calendar event is not a license, tag, permit, reservation, proof of eligibility, or authorization to enter land or harvest fish, shellfish, or wildlife.
Keep your feed, legacy management, and account sign-in links private. You are responsible for activity performed through your authenticated account session. Sign out on shared devices. Do not interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, scrape or redistribute the service at scale, or use it for unlawful activity.
6. Accounts and beta billing
An account is optional during the free beta and provides a central place to manage calendars, email preferences, account information, and future billing. Season Signal does not collect payment-card information during the free beta and will not charge you without first presenting the applicable price and obtaining your approval. When paid plans are introduced, payment methods and billing details may be managed through a third-party hosted billing provider.
Season Signal currently plans a $14.99 founding price for the first paid year. A beta tester who opts into the beta survey and submits the completed survey before the beta ends will receive the first paid year free for one Season Signal account using the same email address. The reward is nontransferable, has no cash value, and does not guarantee a particular renewal price. Any renewal price will be disclosed before a charge is authorized.
7. Third-party services and sources
Season Signal links to ODFW and other official sources and connects with calendar services operated by Apple, Google, Microsoft, Flexibits, and others. Those services are controlled by third parties and are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their availability, syncing schedule, accuracy, or security.
8. Ownership and feedback
Season Signal’s software, branding, site design, and original content are owned by Season Signal or its licensors. Official regulations, agency names, and third-party marks belong to their respective owners. If you submit feedback, you allow us to use it without restriction or compensation to improve the service.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect the service, respond to abuse, comply with law, or end the beta. You may stop using the service at any time and may request deletion as described in the Privacy Policy.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Season Signal is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, noninfringement, or uninterrupted availability. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot legally be waived.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Season Signal will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for losses arising from reliance on calendar information, missed deadlines, calendar-provider delays, loss of access, hunting citations, property access, injury, or damage. Because the beta is free, Season Signal’s total liability for claims relating to the beta will not exceed $25. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
12. Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by Oregon law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. We may update the terms as the service changes. Continued use after revised terms are published means you accept the revision.
13. Contact
